A little background information...
Many people like to know about the people behind a product in order
to get a better feel
for it's origin and purpose. So, allow me to introduce myself...
My name is Greg Leininger
and my beautiful bride's name is Kristin. God has blessed us with
the four best kids in the world!
We are both solid believers in Jesus Christ
and the absolute truth of His Word.
In 2005, the Lord gave me the idea of using my programming ability
to create a Bible memory
software program. I started thinking about what I
would want in a program like this and how
I would want it to work. I remembered the process I used to memorize scripture for Bible class
when I
was in high school. I would
write the verse on a dry-erase board and say the verse repeatedly,
only erasing
a few random words after each reading. Once all the words were gone, I knew it!
So I used that idea to create the "Memorize" window in the program. Of course, with software
you
can do a lot more than with a dry-erase board, so I added the help features for
those times
when you get stuck at a certain spot.
Years ago, I decided to memorize Romans chapter 6. Although I did succeed in
the task, my
discipline
to review the verse on a regular basis faded quickly
and I eventually forgot it. Knowing this,
I
decided to make sure this program included a way
for me to know when I needed to review the
verses I had memorized. That is
what drove the development of the review feature built-in to
Memorize His Word.
I also knew each verse needed it's own review schedule because some verses
need more
review than others.
The end product is something I have been very pleased with and it
has helped me tremendously in
memorizing more scripture and retaining my memory
verses. I have also been so encouraged by the
customer feedback I have received

helping you memorize more scripture.
